Oh dear, how does one begin a review for Tony James Slater's latest book? If you have read any of his books, "Don't you know who I am?" is the prequel to all his other books. As a reader, I already knew he was crazy, has more lives than a cat and cannot manage to own trousers that do not have holes. This latest book confirms his daredevil nature, his self-deprecating humour, his adoration for his family . . . well, they freely bail him out financially from various disasters, and his inability to take life too seriously. Packed full of laughs, his exploits as an actor seeking fame and fortune will have the reader laughing out loud and trying to explain to listeners, what is so funny. Give up explaining and suggest the listener buys the book to enjoy for themselves. It seems to me that the author might have made it as an actor if he headed the comedy route rather than pursue attempts at becoming the next "great actor". There are a couple of minor grammatical errors but they do not detract from the story. HIghly recommend this as a delightful, lighthearted story.
